Nobody Facebooks Better Than BMW

We know Facebook is a great (and basically free) marketing tool for thousands of businesses all over the world, but beyond that very basic fact, it’s obvious that these businesses are still trying to figure out how best to utilize the social media they’ve got at their fingertips. The L2 “Prestige 100” Facebook report, which [...]

A BMW History Lesson

How many times have you been to a Boston BMW dealership and found yourself wondering, “Wow, BMW is one of the most respected luxury car brands in the world, but what in God’s name does BMW actually stand for?” You wouldn’t be alone in this, and while there isn’t really an amazing story behind the [...]

BMW 650i Ushers In Some Fantastic New Upgrades to 6 Series

Sometimes, you’ve just got to make a change, and that’s exactly what BMW has done with its new 6 Series coupe and convertible. To be frank, the pressure was on BMW to do something significant with its retooling of the new 6 Series because their top-shelf coupe has always been one of the most in-demand [...]

Why It’s Better to Buy Certified Pre-Owned

I couldn’t even tell you how many sitcoms I watched as a kid where an episode featured the purchase of a used car. There were a lot of ways the writers for these shows went about creating the conflict, but the end result was almost always the same—a teenager buys a lemon from some skeezy [...]

The L2 “Prestige 100” Facebook report, which recently picked out the luxury brands that best use Facebook, came up with some pretty interesting findings, not the least of which was the fact that no luxury brand uses Facebook for marketing better than BMW. … Continue Reading

How many times have you been to a Boston BMW dealership and found yourself wondering, “Wow, BMW is one of the most respected luxury car brands in the world, but what in God’s name does BMW actually stand for?” You wouldn’t be alone in this, and while there isn’t really an amazing story behind the name (BMW is short for “Bayerische Motoren Werke,” which is German for Bavarian Motor Works), there is a pretty cool story behind how the company got started. In the interest of fully appreciating where these cars have come from, let’s go ahead and take a look at that today, shall we? … Continue Reading

BMW 650i Ushers In Some Fantastic New Upgrades to 6 Series

Sometimes, you’ve just got to make a change, and that’s exactly what BMW has done with its new 6 Series coupe and convertible. To be frank, the pressure was on BMW to do something significant with its retooling of the new 6 Series because their top-shelf coupe has always been one of the most in-demand vehicles in their stable, but with the rise of the 8 Series and its beautiful V12 in the 1990s a lot of customers abandoned the old 6 Series. The E63 6 Series wasn’t exactly a huge hit, either, drawing criticism for its unattractive rear end, so when it was announced that a completely redesigned 6 Series would hit the market for the 2012 model year, many purists rejoiced. The 6 Series was back, baby, and better than ever. … Continue Reading

Why It’s Better to Buy Certified Pre-Owned

I couldn’t even tell you how many sitcoms I watched as a kid where an episode featured the purchase of a used car. There were a lot of ways the writers for these shows went about creating the conflict, but the end result was almost always the same—a teenager buys a lemon from some skeezy used car salesman and almost immediately regrets it.

You’d have thought that, eventually, one of those sitcom families would have watched a previous sitcom and learned to buy their kids a car some other way. But that never happens because, let’s face it, doing it the right way wouldn’t make for good television. … Continue Reading

BMW’s Popular X1 Coming to Canada, U.S. Next?

NBC’s wildly popular sitcom “The Office” ended its seventh season Thursday night, ending an era of the wildly popular Steve Carrel character, Michael Scott. The finale focused on the search for a new boss to replace the old one, and one of the interviewees was with Ricky Gervais’s character David Brent, who appeared on the original UK version of “The Office” way back in 2001. Call it full circle, if you will.

Why I am talking about “the Office” on a car blog? To prove the point that sometimes, there are things that can become wildly popular in the States, but only after they’ve proven themselves somewhere else. … Continue Reading

It was a pleasure to work with everyone at the dealership. I found the used car through a dealer ad online. When I called in the experience was excellent and customer focused from the start. Being an out of state purchaser I needed some detailed descriptions about the condition and purchase opportunity before I could justify making the 3 hour drive to view t […]

We had a great experience. This was our first experience in purchasing a BMW. We were first greeted by Client Advisor Brendan Rappoport who, for a young man, demonstrated the interpersonal skill level of a much more mature salesperson. We found Brendan to be very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Our experience with Brendan was exceptional in every […]
